Muggle Quidditch (sign up here!)

Quidditch, a sport in the Harry Potter books, has inspired many people to play Muggle Quidditch, also known as Ground Quidditch, a non-magical (but yet, oh so magical) version of the game. As it is adapted from the game in the book, people have made many different versions.  We have a very straightforward version that emphasizes fair play and teamwork! But just because we aren’t flying doesn’t mean it won’t be a sweaty, athletic, magical experience! The past two years have been a smash success and we hope to add more teams this year! This class will culminate in the 3rd Annual Chicago Muggle Quidditch Cup where we will be given the option to test our skills against other youth teams!

The Breakfast Club - On Stage (sign up here!)

Years ago, when EDGE was at its smallest, we did a version of this play that we still talk about to this day as one of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. We wrote a much larger, flushed out version of the show with incredible story expansion from Rick Olson. We finally have enough people to realize our larger vision of this wonderful Chicago based story. So join the cast as five high school students meet in Saturday detention and discover how they have a lot more in common than they thought.
