You might also consider the Constellation Project's other inclusive theatre program based in Morton's Grove starting in October. Though this is not part of ups For Downs it is spearheaded by our same teaching staff. It is its own unique program. You can read more about it here.

It’s here! It’s happening! Our auditions for Mary Poppins are finally announced! With special permission from MTI we are casting ages 8-adult in this production dedicated to bringing people who are differently abled and those who are typically functioning together in one massive production!

This is an educational program with social inclusion as its primary goal.

Our productions have been called “life changing” and “truly inspired”!

This production is being produced by UPS for DownS and run by EDGE Theatre NFP’s Constellation Project.

Anticipated Rehearsal Schedule: 

  • Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 beginning September 4th
  • Saturday/Tuesday rehearsals begin in October: Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:30 and Saturdays 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Performance location: Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts

Tech Week: February 4, 5, 6 from 5-9:00 p.m.

Performance Dates:
Thursday, February 7 @ 7:00 p.m.
Friday, February 8 @ 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, February 9 @ 6 p.m.
Sunday, February 10 @ 2 p.m.
